Samantha Bohrt holds a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In her role at WomenHeart, she oversees the patient support and education programs, including the WomenHeart Champions program and the National Hospital Alliance. Samantha works closely with the Champion community and WomenHeart’s hospital partners, ensuring they have the resources they need to educate and support women’s heart patients and those most at risk of heart disease. Samantha has a background in community health education and health promotion, having worked in the reproductive health and wellness fields for the past 10 years–she brings with her years of experience working with nonprofits and volunteers to implement evidence-based interventions at the community level.
