Jennifer Forsyth is the Director of Human Pharma Communications and Corporate Affairs at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and has more than 20 years of diverse healthcare public relations experience. In her current role, Jennifer advances patient health and the company’s core purpose by leading the internal and external communications strategy for the cardio-renal-metabolic therapeutic area, including traditional, digital and social media, employee engagement, and executive communication strategies. Jennifer leads wide-ranging U.S. and Global capabilities in pharmaceutical product approval and promotion, franchise management, strategic planning and disease state awareness/education, such as the award winning Hear Your Heart and Cuide Su Corazón educational programs aimed at addressing health disparities and inequities for women with heart failure, particularly Black and Latina women. The Hear Your Heart initiative aims to empower women facing the challenges of heart failure by providing tailored resources and educational content. Jennifer is passionate about helping to improve the lives of women living with or at risk of heart disease which is why she created and leads this program that is helping to fill crucial healthcare gaps and inspire proactive conversations and actions within the heart failure community.
Prior to joining Boehringer, Jennifer spent 12 years in New York City serving in leadership roles at public relations firms to provide strategic counsel for a variety of large-scale pharmaceutical accounts.
