Cherie is an accomplished strategic communications professional who has led global teams across healthcare and tech industries, most recently at Microsoft where she managed communications in the Office of the CEO and led cross-company news and owned storytelling initiatives across teams in Asia, India, and Europe.
Prior to joining Microsoft, she was a longtime health and medical reporter at several newspapers across the U.S. She then worked in Washington, D.C. at a health care-focused PR agency, in corporate communications at the American College of Cardiology, and at an NGO leading global infectious disease projects.
A graduate of Howard University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism, Cherie also holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a master’s degree in public health from George Washington University. She has two adorable Frenchtons, Olive and Hazel.
