Ann de Velasco, R.N. has enjoyed a 50+ year career in nursing, education, management, and community outreach. Upon graduation from the WomenHeart Science & Leadership Symposium in 2003, she founded WomenHeart of Miami in partnership with Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute. Over the years, hosting over 200 Support network meetings, community events, seminars, and outreach opportunities continues to keep Annie very active. In this new year, she is excited to welcome and mentor new Champions to continue the WomenHeart mission so dear to her heart.
