Reflecting on 25 Years: WomenHeart’s Journey and Impact

WomenHeart’s 25th Anniversary

As we look back on 25 years of WomenHeart, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come in supporting women with heart disease. Since its inception, WomenHeart has empowered thousands of women to take control of their health, raised awareness about the unique risks of heart disease in women, and advocated for critical advancements in healthcare.

Milestone Achievements

Supporting Survivors Nationwide

Through the WomenHeart Champion program, hundreds of women each year gain training and support to advocate in their communities. This year, we grew by 37 new Champions, who have made impactful contributions across the country.

Building a Strong Network or Support

With support groups, local and virtual events, our Annual Wenger Awards, and the Science & Leadership Symposium, WomenHeart creates a safe space for women to share experiences, seek support, and celebrate our cause.

Advocating for Health Equity

WomenHeart has advocated to increase funding for women’s heart disease research, improve access to care, and raise awareness of gender-specific heart disease symptoms.

Looking Forward

WomenHeart’s mission remains as vital as ever, and with your help, we will continue empowering, educating, and advocating for women with heart disease for many years to come. Thank you for your support this year!
