Physicians dedicate their lives and careers to caring for others. Today on National Doctors’ Day, we are recognizing these healthcare providers for their medical expertise and contributions to science.
WomenHeart would like to highlight our Scientific Advisory Council (SAC): a group of female cardiologists and experts that provide medical and scientific guidance to help the 48 million women living with or at risk of heart disease.
Our SAC members are at the forefront of cardiology, charting new ground in research and treatment and helping thousands of women nationwide. We are so fortunate to work with such a dedicated and hardworking group of cardiologists, all in the name of advancing women’s health. We are thrilled to honor one of our SAC members, Annabelle Volgman, M.D. at this year’s Wenger Awards Dinner. She is the 2019 Excellence in Medical Innovation honoree.
