Login Help


If you hare having problems logging in please follow the steps below to clear your browsers cache and cookies.

 

* **Clearing your browsers cache and cookies

 

Internet Explorer 8.X

1) Select Tools form the menu bar then Internet Options

2) In the middle of the windows (dialog box) you will see Browsing History and a button called Delete.

3) Click Delete and select options on the next window.

     The three you need to check are:

          Preserve Favorites website data

          Temporary Internet files

          Cookies

     Important: Preserve Favorites website data is usually checked but if it is not please check it or you will lose your Favorites and saved website pages.

     You will want to make sure in most cases the following are not checked:

          History

          Form data

          Passwords

4) Click Delete when you have selected or unchecked items in step 3.  Another window will popup with a moving bar.  The window will close when it's done.

5) It may take a few minutes for it to run so please be patient.

6) When finished close the open windows and close your browser.

7) Then open your browser and start over.  You should be able to login now.

 

Internet Explorer 7.X
1) Select Tools from the menu bar then Internet Options

2) In the middle of the window (dialog box) you will see Browsing History and a button called Delete.

3) Click Delete and select options on the next window.

     The two you need to clear are:

          Temporary Internet Files
          Cookies

4) When you click Delete Files next to each on of these you will be asked Yes or No.
5) Choose yes to delete the item you have selected.  Another window will popup with a moving bar.  The window will close when it's done.
6) It may take a few minutes for each one to run so please be patient.

7) When finished close the open windows and close your browser.

8) Then open your browser and start over.  You should be able to login now.

 

Firefox 3.X
1) Clock on Tools from the menu bar then Clear Private Data

2) A window pops up with several options already selected.
3) Change or choose options so that (at least) Cache and Cookies are checked.

4) Click Clear Private Data now

5) The window will close and you will see your hard drive light flash for a few seconds to minutes depending on how much information needs to be cleared.

6) Give your computer a few minutes then close and open Firefox.  You should be able to login now.


* Your browsers cache and cookies are used to help access websites.  The cache helps speed up access by keeping frequently used images, style sheets and web files on your computer for easy and quick reference.  Cookies are used to help maintain your login/session to various websites.

 

By clearing your browsers cache and cookies you force your browser to get a fresh copy of any file or resource from the server.  By clearing your cookies you force the server and your browser to start a new login/session. 

 

** Please note when clearing cookies if you have asked any website to "Remember me so I do not have to login again." those websites will ask you to login again since you have removed the cookies that maintain the login/session from your browser.
